Rocking the Boat has been invited to participate in Future Cities, Future Citizens, a seminar being hosted by the Stockholm Resilience Centre and Cornell University on October 17, 2010 at Nordic Light House in Shanghai, China. Alex Severino, an On-Water Program Assistant and Govin Baichu, an Environmental Job Skills Apprentice, will join our Environmental Job Skills Program Director, Dawn Henning, to make a presentation on Rocking the Boat's extensive experience working to restore oysters in the Bronx River. Rocking the Boat is honored to join students from Bangalore, Stockholm and Gothenburg in offering our South Bronx-based perspective on global environmental challenges.
