Water Monitoring
As a whole, Rocking the Boat's On-Water program monitors the water quality and other conditions of the Bronx River, specifically the Sound View and Hunts Point area. Tests such as turbidity, pH balance, dissolved oxygen, temperature and nitrates are conducted to observe the growing health of the river. This data helps connect the community to the river through education and as a result we are one step closer in being a GREENER New York!
