on-water classroom

On-Water Classroom exposes elementary, middle, and high school students to the joy of rowing and the beauty and ecological diversity of the Bronx River. Science and math teachers work closely with Rocking the Boat staff to customize programs for their classes and successfully apply biology, physics, chemistry, and geometry skills and concepts that often lack applicability when taught in a classroom setting to real world situations.
