Join us in Hunts Point this summer to explore the hidden gem of the Bronx – the beautiful Bronx River!

• Our Woodworking campers will split their time between rowing our student-built wooden boats along the Bronx River and creating their own project in our woodshop. Campers will build community, build skills, and learn to row as a team while making observations of the local environment.

• Our River Ecology campers will spend their days diving into the ecology of the Bronx River. On land and on water, they will investigate the health of the river and the life that it supports, as well as the relationship that humans hold with this NYC waterway. Community and teamwork, time outdoors, and camper-led inquiry will be the focus of this week-long camp.

• Our holiday week mini camps will blend rowing, art, and teambuilding across grades, for a fun and enriching way to spend the holiday week!

Safety is the foundation of all our programming. Students will be supervised and will have US Coast Guard approved life jackets on at all times while on or near the water. Children with all swim abilities are welcome to participate. No previous experience is necessary, just an openness to learn!
