steps to booking your program

 

step 1:

Decide on duration and timing
Single or multi-day program
2 or 3 hours
Morning or afternoon

 

step 2:

Select the activities
Select from current program offerings. Programs often include 2 to 3 activities. All Ecology Explorations are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards.

 

step 3:

Email the Public Programs team at publicprograms@rockingtheboat.org
Include in your email: Name of school/organization and contact person, program(s) interested in booking, length of program(s) (e.g. 2 hours, 3 hours, half day, full day), # of students, grade level, special group considerations, learning goals

 

step 4:

Review Activity Plan and cost
You will be provided with an outline and cost for your selected program

 

step 5:

Book program date and sign contract
Once you confirm Activity Plan and finalize date(s), Rocking the Boat will send a contract to be signed by you (or designated organizational authority)

 

step 6:

Billing
After Contract is signed, Rocking the Boat will issue an invoice
NYC DOE Contracts will also need to obtain P.O. #
Payment is preferred prior to date of program

 

step 7:

Attend program
Please see the checklist provided by the Public Programs Team
All programs are rain or shine – rain gear is available
