1. Go online or call (877) 957-2277 to fill out the donation form that requests some basic information about your vehicle and where it will be picked up.
   
   
2. A towing agent will contact you within two to three business days to arrange a pick up time most convenient for you.
   
   
3. After your car is sold, you will receive an email that includes a tax receipt.

What vehicles can I donate?
Advanced Remarketing Services accepts all types of running and non-functioning car donations. Trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, snowmobiles, planes, heavy machinery, trailers and RVs are accepted on a case-by-case basis. If you have questions about a vehicle you’d like to donate, call ARS at (877) 957-2277.

What do I do with my title?
When you donate a car to Rocking the Boat, you will sign your title over to Advanced Remarketing Services. You will print and sign your name as the seller. If you have any questions about filling out your title, please call ARS at (877) 957-2277. If you can’t find your title, you can order a replacement vehicle title through the New York Department of Motor Vehicles.

How much money does Rocking the Boat receive from my car donation?
Advanced Remarketing Services returns 75-80% of the gross selling price for your car donation back to Rocking the Boat, the highest of any vehicle donation program!

 
Will I receive a tax receipt?
Yes! Within 30 days of the sale of your vehicle, you will receive an email with a tax receipt for your car donation which includes:

• The gross selling price of your car, if sold for greater than $500.
• Vehicle year, make, model, and VIN.
• A statement that the vehicle was sold at arms-length between two unrelated parties.
• A statement that no goods or services were received in return for your donation.

Yes, Rocking the Boat will accept boat donations on a case-by-case basis. Please complete this form and the Sailing staff will determine if the boat fits its programmatic needs.

If it doesn’t and you are open to authorizing Advanced Remarketing Services to sell your boat and give the proceeds to Rocking the Boat, please fill out the donation form here and you will be contacted regarding next steps. Please note that, as specialty items, boats need to be assessed prior to ARS accepting the donation.
